all damaged goods. darn
Arrington we all know. Emmons has nerve damage in the neck, Petigout came back from a bad back only to break his leg.

Arrington is worth the pick up, even if it's a gamble. That guy is a stud when healthy. It's worth the risk.

Ugh....I would've said pick up Arrington a couple of years ago, but he's not worth it. I'd prefer to keep our team full of high character guys instead of picking up someone like Arrington. He has no accountability for himself and always blames everyone else for why he doesn't reach his potential. Also, apparently we need LBs that like to read the playbook once in a while instead of freelancing.

If he's willing to throw Joe Gibbs under the bus he'll do it to Sean Payton too.

I honestly think we can thank, and blame T.O. for all of the fire spitting, coming from all of the players these days. I reallize that everyone is their own person and all, but it just seems to me, that since he started glorifying himself years back, now all kinds of players are calling out coaches, and players. Anyone remember Freddy Mitchell? He's cooking fries somewhere now, because of his mouth. A wasted talent, that just got caught up in the drama, and forgot about being a football player.

I've always liked Arrington for some reason. Maybe it's because of Joe Pa. He always seems to produce players with character and humility. Although, I will have to agree with you on Arrington. He's got a mouth on him.

I'd like to see us get a more explosive KR/PR. Reggie is that guy imo, but I don't think we'll allow him to be fulltime back there.

CheramieIII 02-13-2007 04:30 PM

RE: and the cuts begin!

Yeah I hate to say it Papz, but I think Lewis is gone this season. Maybe we can draft someone who can KR/PR and Kickoff for us. We give up alot of yards on our kickoffs.

RE: and the cuts begin!

No kidding... I thought our coverage unit blew poop last season.

I don't know Z, it seems to me if we kick the ball into the endzone everytime the other team has less of a return chance.

Michael Griffin would be great here. CB/S and special teams demon.

Re: and the cuts begin!

- My thought is no way Payton looks at any of these guys. Too much risk, and Arrington still is going to cost a bundle.

I think he'll bring in proven, healthy guys that are more likely to fit in and help, not huge 'impact' players.

Remember, we have a first place schedule next year plus Indy and Jax. Now is not the time to be throwing money at question mark LB's.

When did he throw Joe Gibbs under the bus?
LaVar actually gave money back to get out of D.C. Didn't demand a trade, didn't threat to sit out, he gave his bonus money back. He had it bad there.

My only knock on LaVar is that he gets hurt. For that, I wouldn't sign him. But LaVar is no Owens.
