The latest scoop i have gotten is that the saints have agreed to a deal with Brian Simmons...and they should have an announcement on that and the signing of a safety by Wednesday. I am not sure what safety it will be but i was told this morning that by Wednesday, we would have a new LB and S.

Thanks for the info, Bob. Hopefully your guy is right again.

Now I wonder who that Safety is? My guess is Hamlin, since he would help the run defense.

I bet it's going to be Grant. Hopefully it's both. New FS and SS would make me smile. Why are we not going after Nick Harper hard right now? Or at least Hood?

This guy kicks arse in a dome and I think he has a couple of good years left. He would play dome games at least 10 or 12 times a year if we signed him, nuff said.

What are we going to do with Carney? He's still a solid kicker in my opinion. Getting older, but solid. Then again, we had two kickers almost all year last year.....hmmmm.
