They are saying on the talk shows in Charlotte that the player the Saints tried to move up and get was Brady Quinn, but the price was too high. What are they saying down there? I need info....

but while watching the draft, I think we had Spencer in our sights. Kinda a toss up b/w him and Meachem, and when Dallas picked Spencer, our way was set. Just a hunch so don't come at me with nails just yet

If they thought that there was a big difference between Spencer and Meachem then they would have tried to get him, but there wasn't, so they waited to see which one would fall to them.

honestly how could you not. If you are going for the BPA on the board, at the best value Quinn was it, almost. Oh my God you got 2 good QB. Sounds like Atlanta. They got there return on their investment. look at the draft this year and what they did with all the picks. they did a great job. They still have next year to spend the remained. I would have understood this move. Add Spencer to list of players that other teams trade up to get before us, most likely.

I don't believe it. Brees has a huge contact and there is no way we're going to start a rookie in front of him. Quinn would have been way too expensive to just hold a clipboard.

Trade up pick him and hold an auction. Look what Cleveland gave up for him. Oh well did not happen
