AtlantaFalcons.com reports the Atlanta Falcons have released CB Kevin Hobbs.

Why not add another.

Jackson wasn’t the only former Tiger enjoying a big day Thursday. The prospect who garnered the most attention wasn’t offensive tackle Marcus McNeill, a likely first-round draft pick. It wasn’t well-regarded prospects like Stanley McClover, Devin Aromashodu, Ben Obomanu or Jackson.
It was defensive back Kevin Hobbs.
The former walk-on ran a blistering 4.35 40-yard dash on his first attempt, then followed it up with a 4.34 on his second run. The 40-yard dashes were held on artificial turf in Auburn’s indoor practice facility and were hand-timed by scouts - times varied by several tenths of a second between individual scouts.
Hobbs also recorded the day’s longest standing broad jump, leaping 11 feet, 1 inch, and impressed in position drills as a safety.
