Underrated Dt Young........
DT Bryan Young should have made the Pro Bowl. This is a comparison of the NFC Pro Bowl DT's and Young:
# 93 Kevin Williams Position: DT Height: 6-5 Weight: 304----------G-Ttl-Tkl-Ast-Sk-Pd 2006 Minnesota Vikings 16 36 28.0 8 5 6 # 77 Kris Jenkins Position: DT Height: 6-4 Weight: 335 2006 Carolina Panthers 16 41 32.0 9 3 1 # 91 Tommie Harris Position: DT Height: 6-3 Weight: 300 2006 Chicago Bears 12 28 22.0 6 5 1 # 66 Brian Young Position: DT Height: 6-2 Weight: 298 2006 New Orleans Saints 16 46 36.0 10 5.5 1 The only reason I post this thread is, everybody talk about how bad our DT position is, and rightfully so. But, we went to the NFC Championship Game, we had three players, one from the defense who made the the Pro Bowl. When you look at the numbers of those Pro Bowl DT s, and compare them to Young's, you can't tell me he's not a very underrated DT. But, again that's just my opinion. |
