He's not going anywhere, if he were, it would have happen before or during the draft. Besides, he didn't drop as many crucial passes as T. (DRAMA QUEEN)O. and the defense still has to honor his speed and field stretching ability. I thought he made some really nice plays last year, it just takes some receivers a little longer than others to adjust to life in the NFL, he's going to be a difference maker this season, trust me.

DH has not shown great hands inside the 10 to 15 yard range I give you that. But deep he is much better. Must take a few yards for the hands and eyes to get into sync I guess.
Right now you might get a Stallworth type of deal for him. I say keep and see what happens now that Drew and the coaches have taken him under their wing. So we loose him to FA next year. What difference does it make. We got depth at WR right. if he really developes we could always franchise him. At the least we could get the supplement pick in 2009 for him. Those are always good. They always over value players. |
i agree, no way we could get a second for him. Plus I would get rid of him anway ,DH will have a good year. Geaux Saints

I really don't see what bad thing Devery did that was soooo bad for anyone to talk about trading him. Devery is where, and in a role he needs to be.
|
I think Devery is improving. He has blazing speed, and forces secondaries to respect it. If he had been a 4th rounder we'd all be on his bandwagon. He probably opens things up underneath as well, so he does have an effect even when he doesn't touch the ball. And we've all seen what happens when secondaries don't respect his deep speed.
I think this is the year he either puts out or gets out. |
