Updating a previous report, Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports unrestricted free-agent LB Dhani Jones (Eagles) said he has signed a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints.

So now we have depth at LB.

Jones is going to be a good insurance policy if we have injury problems. He was great for the Giants....but his play kind of fell off in Philly. I think this is a good signing. He will provide good depth and may even have a shot to start if he can regain his form from his NY Giants days.

plus the competition he will create at WLB is also a good thing.
