Panthers LB Terrence Melton suffered a serious knee injury during the team’s Fan Fest and could miss the entire season.

The team is expected to update his status on Monday. He was viewed as a key backup because of his versatility, but James Anderson will attempt to fill that role if Melton misses the season.
