CINCINNATI - Defensive end Charles Grant sacked Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer, forcing a fumble, which was recovered by Antwan Lake at the Cincinnati 22-yard line.

Grant signed a new contract in the offseason that could earn him $63 million.

Lake is playing because of the injury to Brian Young who has missed all of training camp with a broken foot.
