So now there are six LB's on the roster.
The three projected backups are Fincher, Simmons, and Marvin Mitchell. I wonder if they keep six or cut one more? |

Wow... I definately thought Evans played well enough to make the team. Obviously Fincher is showing them something I'm not seeing.

Troy Evans name is not included in the final cuts! Mitchell was.

The link above still states that Evans was cut but the official site still has him on the roster. :confused:

Check out NewOrleansSaints.com for who was cut. Troy is still on the team. It was Willie Evans that was cut.

I think it was Willie Evans. To different guys, same last name. If they cut Troy Evans, I'm hangin up my Saints jersey, cause I'll have lost faith in our staff's scouting eye for talent. |
