Not so sure how you rank teams that haven't played yet. Nice to see a little respect being paid though.

Maybe it is just me - but it still seems rare that NOLA gets respect nationally. I love this part of the year - every fan in every city has some reason to believe. We are all at 0-0. everyone is tied.

It seems like after last year - they would have learned their lesson. Well, every year - divisions will turn upside down. It is part of the beauty of this leauge. I was just in Houston - talking to folks who really believe. I am in DC right now - and Redskin fans are pumped (even after the terrible season they had last year.) Then someone sells you a powerranking - I HATED it when they picked the saints at the bottom - so I will equally hate it when they pick us on top.

Last year, before the Reggie thing happened. I believed. I was looking at it going, hell, now we got us a 1/4 back and we have an RB and a WR and a couple of defensive ends - I think we got a team.

NO ONE on the national scene thought so. Then Reggie comes along and falls in our lap - and who could have predicted Coleston. Then - On this week last year - as we are getting ready to play the Browns - DOES ANYONE pick us?

No I hated those then, so I have to hate them now. One could argue - 3 games into the season - you might could start some rankings when you have some sort of data to go on.

BUt no I don't feel right saying explitives when they hate us if I don't say them when they love us.
