Definately nothing to get excited about. If I recall correctly after that decent year with the Jags, he signed a fat contract to join the Redskins only to flop. Never fulfilled his potential since he was drafted in the first round way back in the day. I believe he is a decent run stopping DE... but nothing more.

Even serviceable I would have to question and I don't know if there is someone I would cut in order to free up a roster spot for him.

I don't think we have any immediate plans for a guy like this, but it never hurts to have him work out so we can see what he can do.

If we 'spring a leak', like Hagan says, we don't need to panic or try out 3-4 guys, we just pick up the phone
