The Times Picayune reports New Orleans Saints CB Dale Carter has completed his substance abuse treatment program and he has applied for reinstatement by the NFL. "He went through the treatment program with flying colors, from what I understand," coach Jim Haslett said. "I don't know where it's going from there."

hopefully hell be back soon. I would love to see Carter and a healthy Thomas in the same secondary. With the experience Craver is getting and the way Irvin is playing the nickel and dime packages would be outstanding.

I wish him the best with his substance abuse issues. Horrible disease. I wish we had him also, we knew the potential when we signed him. The Jake Reed, big brother theory didn\'t work, hopefully it will from here on out.
