They might as well just quit if they're not going to do any better than this. They fell behind and just stopped trying. I can see that the moves, (or lack thereof) in the offseason had no effect whatsoever!!

Utterly pathetic!! This season is over already!!!!!!!!!

Alright now, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're playing the defending Superbowl Champion Colts, don't forget that. The season is not over, we just really need some work on some things.

Come on, we're all pissed, but it's just one game... the first game.

At some point, we all have to start looking at the games we lost last year, and the game we lost last night. Against quality teams, especially AFC teams, we look lost on both sides of the ball. The offensive line did a good job, on pass protection tonite. The receivers just didn't get open downfield. Dump passes, were about all we had. I know someone said earlier that there were alot of open receivers downfield. They might have looked open, but the Colts safeties played deep all night tonite, so I guarantee, they might have looked wide open, but they weren't. As you could see with the two interceptions that Brees threw, trying to force the issue.

We played against a mediocre defense at best tonite. Yes they are the SB champs, but they are also with alot of new guys on both sides of the ball. So it's not really the same team that won the SB. We just weren't ready for this match up, and got out played in the second half.

Wow SaintPaul25, where you been? I haven't seen you in the forums for sometime. You still making it out to the Saints vs. 49ers?

Yeah, all day long, I couldn't get over the massacre from last night. It was utterly disgusting. I hope I am in a happier place 9 days from now.

exactly
the season is not over
it simply came down to some bad decisions
and some bad plays

yes I bashed them hard for some not so good calls from the coaching staff and some bonehead plays but this season is far from over

lets get real this team still has some of the best talent around
but they beat themselves and the colts were able to take advantage of that

but at the same time I feel your frustration
it sucks to have had some chances at some big plays and they blew it
and as a fan it hits you right ware it hurts the most
so take a deep breath
vent all that frustration to a friend or here on the net and once you have it all out lets get ready for a rollercoaster ride of a season
because I’m sure this will not be the last time we are all upset about the decisions made in this or any of the games to come
