The cover two the colts run is a version the tampa two that tony Dungy developed in Tampa. The answer is yes. Look for Eric Johnson to have a bigger role. Payton will see it on tape as will Drew. We have to get the rush going. The OL will be key

Hagen is right about getting the run going.
The Saints must have a strong running game against Tampa for us to have a chance to win that game, I do feel that the Saints passing game will be much improved against the Bucs, their secondary is quite as good as the Colts but are pretty good up front so our line better step up next week..

We need to run between the tackles first. Started doing that Thurs, but when we tried to go outside, they killed us with speedy and gang tackling. Deuce and Carney up the middle, with Reggie on the flats. When they blitz, Colston Devery and Johnson. We have the skilled players on offense. We just need to score a TD and get it started.

running game going and then deep down the middle of the field is the key to beating cover two.

Power running between the tackles and short passes over the middle to the TEs and the Backs is key. That will bring safeties into the box opening up the deep ball.

Pound it at flip it. You got it whodat. Eric should be the target. Force the safeties and LB into cover the backs and TE, then you will get the WR open down the field. If they don't then dink it and dunk it on time consuming drives.

I think that they have a good defense.
The Bucs offense should be terrible if Carnell and Garcia are out this game.
That has nothing to do with the topic, however.:patos:
