Mel Mitchell. Everything I\'ve heard about this guy has been great. The only thing that held this guy up was the position was already filled. Well, it\'s all his, now.

Kenny Smith. My #2 team in college football is Alabama, which is who Smith played for. There were games where this guy dominated. It was like he was a college player that was playing against high shcool kids. He was hurt his last year at Alabama and it affected his draft status. Everyone will know who Kenny Smith is after this year.

Pak is back. As for me I\'m going to have to go with Craver. This kid will be the man. ;)

I think 2 guys to watch are probably on everyone else\'s list too.
But here\'s my take...
Kenny Smith - All he needed was motivation and desire. From what everyone says he appears to have \"adjusted\" his attitude about pro ball. He was always the most talented guy all his life. He has never had to work his asss off to be great. But then came the pros, where everyone was the best athelete their whole life. He now realizes he must work his butt off or he\'ll be a back-up his whole career. Haslett said he was the most talented lineman on this team, he just needed some work ethic and development.
Its kinda like the guy who made straight A-s all through high school without studying a lick. He gets into college and it takes him a few years to discover...\"hey, if I don\'t start studying my asss off I\'m gonna be kicked out of here\". I also think he now realizes that he can be a stud in this league, and the only thing stopping him is Kenny Smith.

Mel-Mitchell - All the scouts said this guy was gonna be a stud after a couple of years of development. Well one year learning under Sammy Knight is like 2 or 3 years under somebody else. He may blossom into a ball seeking nuclear bomb.

But everybody picks these 2. I think the sleepers to watch are...
Keyou Craver. If he came out last year he would have been the 3rd or 4th rated CB in the draft. He was coming on strong before his knee injury. An MCL injury is much different that an ACL. The MCL is pretty much 100% re-coverable, whereas an ACL will never be 100% and usually takes about a 1-1/2 to 2 years to get back close to 100%.

James Allen - I think this guy may break into the starting lineup, but not in front of Rogers, in front of Hodge. He\'s in his 2nd year and is on the upswing. Hodge is in his 3rd or 4th and didn\'t improve as much as I was hoping he would. He may prove me wrong because he\'s loaded with talent. I\'ll gladly admit it.

Charles Grant- I say him because I think he may turn it up to pro-bowl quality. He\'s not really a sleeper, but I think he may dominate more that most think.

I was also going to agree with Grant. But I don\'t think that he falls into the catagory of sleeper pick, but I like his potental.
It seems that everyone is looking at the D for sleeper picks. Kinda obvious since that is what has changed the most.
However I will have to submit the name of Sloan. I think that now he isn\'t injured he will be back on track. Conwell still has some juice left in him (but I have to question his age). I think that Sloan will pick it up this year, (hopefully back to his pro-bowl days) and finally the Saints will have an O that can do something in the red zone.

Sloan is 31 years old and Conwell is 30. Not sure I follow your logic with the concern about age.

As much as I hate to agree with BC these days I think Kenny Smith will be the \"sleeper\" guy. His time has come and I think he has always had the potential and now he show caes his true abilities. I too, although not a Alabama fan, followed Kenny Smith some during his years at Alabama and he was impressive. This is my pick and I\'ll only pick one.

Damn, I didn\'t know Sloan was so old. I guess that ruins my whole theory. :(
