Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Michigan State LB/FB Dave Herron measured a height of 6-foot-1 and a weight of 239 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.68 seconds and 4.67 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.42 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.03 seconds. He measured a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-2 broad jump and completed 19 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. Herron took part in drills at both positions and caught the ball well.

The Miami Dolphins announced they have waived DE Akbar Gbaja-Biamila from the team.

Herrron sparks an interest for PS.

Then again you got the old saints that know the system. Gbaja is a SLB/DE that has seen limited action with the raiders, chargers, and dolphins.
