Beware the Home Dog
 

I'll keep posting this everytime the Saints are favored on the Road. Home dogs cover 70% of the time.

As a 3.5 favorite, that's not a lot of room in covering and could easily turn into a loss to the Bucs

Last week's imitation of Michigan on its home turf does not inspire confidence.

Be favored may make me feel better going into this game but the only way I really feel good about the game is that in the end we win, I don't care if it's on by one point..
IMO the Saints over match the Bucs and on paper we should win, the Saints really need to win Sunday, not a must but it's still very important to win to say the least..

The Saints have always had a lousy record when favored. I do think this week will change the trend, with or without Cadillac

No way. The boys have a chip and and an axe and all those intangibles necessary to get the road win. We pull away in the fourth. Saints by 13.

i'm really interested to hear how you think the bucs have a chance of beating the saints...b/c the bucs are crap and i think, we are indeed NOT crap :):handguns:

The Bucs are an NFL team, and are capable of beating any other NFL team... especially a 0-1 team on their own turf.

:cool: Right now, as I have not bet on the Saints, I don't care if they cover or not. Winning the game by 1 will make me happy.

Read my post again, a little slower this time

I said that the Saints do not have a good record as a favorite. (last year they were 3-4, including 3 straight up losses).

Then I said that they will change that trend this week. In other words, I think they will win.
Although I won't go as far as you and guarentee a victory.

I will say it again. 3 1/2 point favorite is INSULTING. Bet the farm boys. We win this by 20 going away. Laugh your way to the bank by halftime.
