Where is John Carney

Re: Carney
Jacksonville.
I said it when we got O-my god-mare. wide right, wide left and off the up right and the cross bar. But he does put it in the end zone |
Re: Carney
The more I think about getting rid of John the sicker I get.

Re: Carney
Unless Carney is throwing for 400 yds, rushing for 150, catching 30 balls a game and holding teams defensively, im not so sure kicking is our biggest weakness.....

Re: Carney
Yeah, maybe it isn't our biggest weakness, but missing a field when you are already down can take alot of wind out of your sails, and in the NFL momentum and confidence is everything. Just look at the team last year. The team that had quite a few question marks got off to a great start and just rolled from there.

Re: Carney
The problem is that if you miss the FG the other team gets great feild position plus the momentum factor. Offenses that kick field goals at least feel like they got something accomplished. When you miss them, however, it starts to change things. You start forcing plays because of the fear of missing a FG. Plays start being called that don't have to be called. It really does change things when your kicker CAN'T KICK! Like I said somewhere else.....we hated him here in Miami.....I dreaded the day we got him.

Re: Carney
Maybe we can trade him to Jacksonville for Carney, along with Jason David, Fred Thomas, and a pack of Skittles - Taste the rainbow!

Re: Carney
I agree that kicking is the least of our problems, but apparently sucking is contagious.
BTW, here in ATL I had to suffer through the Falcons on TV, with the Saints on the web. Carney didn't make it to the 5 on any kickoff. Of course, ATL has kicker problems too |
