I saw this on another fourm
Before Bush somersaulted into the end zone during the NFC Championship game, he turned around and pointed/mocked Urlacher. Perhaps it was bad karma. Since then:
- Saints did not score another point in the game; - Saints failed to score a touchdown during the season opener - We did not score until the 3rd quarter on a 1 yard dive by Karney. During the period between Bush's taunt and Karney's score, the oposition has scored 92 points on us! Someone take this MOJO off of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought it was funny |
Re: I saw this on another fourm
That's the way things appear on the surface...
I think teams just went: "So, that's how you shut down the Saints offense? Just keep smashing them in the mouth? Don't wait for them, just play full-throttle and bring the pain? OK!" |

... and you should've kept it there..

Re: I saw this on another fourm
Besides, it goes further back than just the Bears games:
Stretching back to last season, Week 16, the Saints have lost five of their past seven games and been outscored in their three most recent appearances by a combined 73 points. |
Re: I saw this on another fourm
Maybe, just maybe, there's nothing extraordinary about New Orleans. Since the Saints' 5-1 start last year they're 6-8, including the playoffs.

Re: I saw this on another fourm
Good point. Does it worry anyone else that the team may have sold their soul "just" to get to the NFC Championship game, and not a Super Bowl?
