Yeah that's pretty much the point I've come to, I'm still gonna watch on sundays but it's back to the old days of praying for a win or two a year.

A real Saints fan will never, ever, give up on the team, but they don't make it easy for their fans. O-4 makes really bad reading. I really thought they were going to get the first win today, but yet again we fall short.

Too true. It's back to the days when my family avoids me on game day and the dogs are hiding under the bed until it's over. I'll keep watching, but it isn't easy.

And we can't blame the o-line today. I thought they played very well. Recievers dropping passes....and Brees really does look out of sync. Even our defense stepped it up today. We should not have gone for that field goal and I think its time to start making some phone calls for a consistent kicker. Mare is done. I hated this move when we did it...I am even angrier about it now.

A real saints fan has been through this for a number of years and should've seen it coming. Just because I see the reality of the situation doesn't make me or anyone else any less of a saints fan.

I wasn't suggesting that anyone on this forum is less of a Saints fan, far from it. It's just that after the fantastic that we had last year, 0-4 is a bitter pill to swallow! I'll still support the Saints even if we don't win any games this season!!!

...AND THIS GAME ACTUALLY GAVE US SOME HOPE. We were in the game the whole way. It looked like they did not want it bad enough, so Carolina took it home. A few crucial decisions could have changed our outcome...but not to be. I will keep looking, but with the familiar 40 year low-to-mediocre expectation of one or two good plays...If we get a win great! If we don't, my colors are still Black and Gold - forever and always.

I've never given up on them but as said it won't be much fun watching them the rest of the year but I still won't miss a game...
