this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; lumm0x - I share your same fears about Reggie Bush. It looked like he wore down again as the game progressed. The Saints do need to find a way to pound it in the 4th quarter. It will bite them ...

WillMacKenzie - I would hate to see Leftwich get injured. A little ankle sprain, or something like that to throw him off is OK. It is totally not cool running a player into another guys knee. I would never want to win like that. I would rather see clean play and the Saints go 0-16. |

Hey! I got a great idea. Let's use Pierre Thomas a little more. Get him involved in the offense. |

Our Deuce is gone. We need to find out if Pierre or Jamal can pound it or not. We have a pro-bowl caliper fullback. Use him.

Re: Falcons at Saints > Keys To Success
Four yards per carry is a good play - a successful run. 2nd and 6 becomes wide open, and so does 3rd and 2. Three of those and we have a first down. Beautiful - in my eyes. It seems that Sean isn't satified with the slow grind. Its like sitting in slow traffic or being stuck behind grandma and can't get around her. He gets impatient and tries to "pass" in a no passing zone, putting Brees and his passengers in danger. Not every play has to make the highlight reel. We saw more of Mike Karney last week than we have since before to the NFC Champ game last year. He helped Reggie through some cracks, helped Brees' jersey stay clean, and was a significant part of the success that has been noticeably absent in previous performances. I hope Payton uses Karney's many talents again this week with Bush, Stecker, and Pierre Thomas.
