METAIRIE -- It's safe to say that most NFL veterans don't look forward to training camp the way Dale Carter did this summer.
When the New Orleans Saints concluded their offseason workouts on June 18, which signaled the start of a five-week break for the players, Carter was only thinking about one thing: July 25, reporting day for training camp.

"I just couldn't wait for it to come," said Carter, a four-time Pro Bowl selection and one of the NFL's top cornerbacks for most of his 10 seasons in the league. "Most of the guys dread camp and they don't look forward to it. But me, I couldn't wait
