now, we come to the crossroads.........
here is my take for what its worth.......
imo, it does not matter if the opposing team
has its # 1 qb or its 3rd playing........
if we can't go up against the better defenses
and score, we are not going anywhere.....
this is where the game is won....
thus, the saints will face one of the better
defenses come next sunday....
here is where the team needs to come
together and get it done.......
look for a close game but look for a well
fought game....
if brees takes control like he has of late,
and does not force anything, takes what
they give him, we will win........
i look for the saints to go to 500.......

Jags will make it a little harder for our offense but in the end we'll get the win, after this game I see them running the table if they continue to play well, the only team left of the schedule we might have trouble with will be the Bucs but their running game just isn't there anymore.

I think this game is going to be close. I think it is important that the Saints score first. In all the games that we have lost the other team has scored first. In all the games that we scored first we have won. I think with Garrard being banged up and with defense being able to stop the run this year, I feel really good about the saints winning a close one. Something like 17-13.

The fact that Jacksonville does not have their starting QB is a big plus for the Saints. Overall, I do not like this game at all. I seriously hope that I am wrong on this, but I think the Saints are going to be 3-5 after the Jacksonville game. To me this just looks like one of those bad match ups for the Saints. I really hope the Saints beat the snot out of them because I am not a Jerk Del Rio fan!!!

Wow this is a tough one Jacksonville's defense has been underachieving this year, their starting quarter back is out, their running back is underachieving also. The Saints have won three in a row and they are playing at home. I expect Drew Brees to have a big game and Reggie Bush to also have one. The Saints win 24-14, and keep that winning streak going.

I predicted a 31-13 victory last week and will stick with it this week. Might be a similiar problem with 49ers. No matter how good the defense is when the offense cant sustain drives and get a couple 1st downs the defense will wear down.
It will help our defense to know the run is coming and bring those safties up for some run support. Jax will not beat us if whoever they have as qb goes 7-16 or 5-14 or whatever his numbers were.
It is about time we beat an AFC team. We went 10-6(10-5 if you dont count that game we gave away to Carolina at the end) last year and 3 of those loses came to the AFC.

don't count out the Bucs. they added Micheal Bennett recently and he looked good in very limited duty in loss to Jags and Gruden said he will start working him in more. I'd bet before too long he will get bulk of carries. a very speedy back as Saints know. That being said, Garcia is still key to that offense as Jags showed us with 3 picks how to rattle him.

This game is HUGE! It IS the biggest game of the year, and I for one am both anxious and nervous. The Jags have their 3rd string QB in, which makes me very happy, they have 3(Count'em) 3 go to backs, which scares me, and they have a top rated defense which always gives Brees the "Passhappies" I am hoping for 24-10 Saints, but I am assuming 33-17 Jags. I sure hope the Bay Area gets the game played on CBS.
