just a few short weeks ago, we were 04.........no hope, no joy, no nothing.
now, we are on the edge of becoming at least a 500 team.
not an easy task no matter who you play........
if brees is not sacked, hurried, or rushed, i will be amazed........
i know, every game is important.........
but, this is against a better defense then we will probably see all yr.....
this is, for playoff hopes..........
we still have to face carolina and tampa again and it won't be easy...
this is the one we have to step up in order to have hopes for the season....
i am going strickly with heart on this one, because we need to have heart to win........
i stick to my prediction from earlier and will watch this one til the end...
here's to the 2006 saints team........may they find the magic in 2007..........

I believe Carolina and TB are on their way down. The Bucs have overachieved this half of the season and the Panthers are aged and their ultimate success is reliant on too few of players.

The Saints' schedule looks pretty good for at least a few good weeks (surprisingly weakish for a team that went to the NFC title game) and it is an opportune time for New Orleans to make a push. Expect Green Bay to start faltering, also.

The Jags will obviously try to dominate the Saints with the run, and I believe they will have some success, but it won't be enough. The Saints defense of lately have proven they can stop the run, but they need some help from the Saints offense to move the ball and allow the defense to catch their breath.
We're probably gonna see alot of puntng from both teams the first half, but I predict the Saints offense will pick up the scoring in the second half as the Jags defense wears from the Saints' balanced attack.
I look for Reggie,Colston, and Eric Johnson to have success at their positions, especially from the short route passing game, but they MUST secure the ball after the catch.
I believe the Saints are the better team in this matchup, they just need to demonstate it.

Low scoring game decided by field position and turnovers. If the saints defense can catch the ball, the game is there's. They must force Jax to pass by stuffing the box, playing m2m on the outside. Our offense will struggle to move the ball consistantly, but a TD in the 4th seals it. Saints 17, Jax 13
