Re: Can't call the OL bad, now
True, offensive line played VERY well today -- at the same time, I think it was more the result of Payton's spread offense. That's how offenses try to expose the LSU defense too.
Result - Jacksonville cannot blitz as much, and can't put too many men in the box. Great job on execution (the only way to pull off a more spread out offense). |
Re: Can't call the OL bad, now
The J-Line 5 -- is Dynomite !!!!

Re: Can't call the OL bad, now
They look so much better with out faine and major probs to Stin... blocking a screen pass that got us a TD for a change

Re: Can't call the OL bad, now
Would it not also be as easy to say we looked good without Deuce? Could you prove it as being a false statement? We won without Faine as our starting center but when he comes back next week we will win again.

Re: Can't call the OL bad, now

Re: Can't call the OL bad, now
The OL play seems to be the difference in this turnaround. They are looking stronger every week.

Re: Can't call the OL bad, now
The O-Line is playing great, just like last year.

Re: Can't call the OL bad, now
Don't be fooled, they're...
OVERACHIEVING. We have to address our offensive line problem in the offseason. I don't know if we can continue overachieving for two straight years with this group. I knew they were garbage from last year... it's just that I was the only one who saw it. |
