Again, they played well. Perhaps, even great. However, I still say the O-line was the sole cause for the first 2 losses and contributed heavily to the next 2. No one is happier than I that they have turned it around.
I guess what I'm trying to get at is the need for some people to call out others for pointing out was should have been obvious to everyone. Am I now a nay-sayer because the O-line played poorly early on and I said so?
This was probably not directed at me, but I've seen this 3 or 4 times in different threads since yesterday, but I don't get the logic.

I've seen the same thing, and I appreciate your argument here in support for those guys being 'called out'. I don't think that the calling out is because anyone said that the O-line or the D-line was playing badly. As I remember it, there were some people who were saying it that way. Other people were talking about how last year's performance from the O-line was flukish and outright saying that the guys we have playing O-line were no-talent hacks who couldn't start for most teams. In my humble opinion, if you take such a stance like that you had better be prepared to chow down on some crow.
I challenged Brees' arm earlier this season, when he was playing badly. I alleged that his arm was "gone". Rib me. Call me out. Serve me up some crow. I was pretty wrong about that, and I can take it (especially when I get it so TOTALLY wrong). :)
