Bring on that Haslett led D

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Could be a trap game against the Rams, but with Haslett as their D coordinator I'm not too concerned. It should be fun to pick on Fakhir Brown as well....

I just want the Saints to continue to play with that major chip on their shoulder - from here until the end of the season. If we play like that, we'd be HELL to deal with.

This game against the rams has me nervous for some reason. I don't know why but I don't feel good about it.

Yeah, This game has Sucker written all over it. I hope the injuries carry over for the Rams.

I hope the Saints win the game, but I do not dislike Haslett.

nope. The rams got everyone back last week and had the bye week to mend. The Saints will be ready. They know that the records mean nothing now after an 0-4 start. They will be ready

I dont like Haslett. The Jags game and Rams game scared me all week. I had dreams about the Rams. I just hope the Saints dont underestimate their opponents like the Redskins of 06.

Re: Bring on that Haslett led D

You know, I almost think forgetting about their "win" streak is more important than "not looking ahead". Why? Because when you start looking at how you've got four straight wins in a row, you begin playing NOT to lose it - and you lose.

It's almost like a king trying to save his crumbling castle, he'll only get crushed under the weight unless he leaves it behind. EVERY game has to be a must win. Every game, we are 0-4.

I believe the 0-4 start will prevent any over looking of any team. Payton has the team focused on winning right now and this should continue for the remainder of the season thru Feburary. That's right I said Feburary.
