He made the TD and did Joe Horns little dance. I liked that but Payton was not happy about it. I think Brees ran over to Payton and said let's have a little fun man.

I think Payton did not like that at all. Boy he was about to chew out Moore before Brees stopped him. Did you guys see that.

haha, yeah I saw Brees holding Payton back. Brees is lucky he has a lot of respect from Payton...or else who knows how that would've turned out

I saw Brees go over and put his arm around Payton and you could see Payton sorta loosen up with a half smile. I didn't know what that was about, but now it makes sense. I keep the sound turned down on the TV and listen to WWL on the radio during the game.(because I cant stand the TV sports commentators)
Also, I said on here back in pre-season that Lance reminds me of a young Joe Horn so maybe some others have picked up on that too and have mentioned it to Lance and this little dance was his Joe Horn impression.

The CBS commentators annoyed me because they saint it was his first TD period. We all know better.

Have you guys noticed that Lance does the Horn-esque point after a first down catch and then there's the pose in Saintsfan4ever's avatar. I wonder if he emulates Joe.

The only reason Payton got so mad, is that he knew a penalty would have taken Mare out of Extra Point range.

My problem with Moore's dance was that it was too long. Way too long.

I will tell you guys this, I think the officials cut the kid a break. Lance Moore should have been flagged for 15. He celebrated just a little too long. It's good to see the officials look the other way at times. It was a special moment for Moore. Overall the Jags had only 4 flags and the Saints only 2. That should tell you that the officials did a great job by not nitpicking the game. It's always best to let the little stuff go and let the guys play the game.
