Grant out Sunday?

The Biloxi Sun Herald is reporting that Charles Grant is not going to play Sunday. Something like he said he could play, but Payton doesnt want him to re-injure himself. That sucks.

I wouldn't call this good news, but Cooper and Wynn have been doing a good job. I hate to see it,but Charles is such a leader that,I think, whether he's on the field or not he will make an impact. This guy has fire and shows it everywhere.

well if he needs the time give it to him. With a 0-4 start there is reason to plan for the long run. I want him healthy for the 3 game inter division swing that is coming up. Hopefully he will be ok for the Houston game. This is a team sport and things happen and it is up to the back ups to step it up a notch.

I think you're right. I'd love to have him the whole time but if I can't, at least against our division rivels. I think this guy is more important than some people think. But even on the sidelines he's a leader. I just hate losing any one of our starters for even one game.

I think he can use the time to get better. And what better team to miss than the Rams.

I don't like this at all. With Stephen Jackson back, I really hope Wynn and Cooper can step up in the run game.

At least it looks like he is well backed up. Wynn and Cooper should be fine for this short stretch. They have a real chance at shining against a suspect front line. Look out Marc Bulger!

With Young AND Grant out, we have lost our depth. No rotation. These guys will have to play 60 minutes.

I don't like what I am hearing at all. It seems like Payton, The team and the fans are taking this week as a bye..........I agree St Louis is not a good team by any stretch of the imagination, and that they can't win against a descent college team right now, but all this injury stuff is just what they need to get back on track. They have NOTHING to lose, and everything to gain from this game, and thus should be looking to clobber the Saints hopes and dreams of a playoff spot. I really hope Payton has not slacked and has some great plays up his sleeve and an amazing gameplan to stop this team from winning.
