Billy Kilmer - Outlawed Saints helmet...
 

I just wanted to post this up on here for them classic Black n Gold fans... The 1969 outlawed N.O. Saints helmet... This is a uniform or a helmet that the Saints should try to use if possible, like this combo... Different or change is good...

I love the look too. But the NFL's got this thing about teams looking too much alike and we'd get murdered by the Steelers franchise for it.

Those were some interesting memories. I remember old Tulane stadium, we had a receiver named Joel Parker, he was I think 92' tall, all alone in the end zone and Archie, with no one pressureing him threw it about 10 rows up in the stands. it's funny now, wasn't to funny then.

Oops, and yesterday I was thinking how much I liked the black uniforms. I still do. Gives them that Temple of Doom look. :-D

Kilmer was tough. He took a lickin and kept those ducks flappin. Every now and then Gilliam would catch one and take it home.
