According to George Halas and what we've seen of Sean Payton they share pretty much the same coaching philosophies.

here's a quote from George:

"You might reduce Lombardi's coaching philosophy to a single sentence: In any game, you do the things you do best and you do them over and over and over." -- George Halas

see what i mean. this could be good long term.
