Very interesting... this could allow us to sign Big Daddy. What I wonder is whether or not that is a good deal for us.

Redskins shopping for defensive tackle
Washington Post
The Post's Mark Maske reports that the Redskins may try to replace Dan Wilkinson by making a trade or signing a free agent. The Redskins could try to deal for Grady Jackson, Keith Traylor, Ted Washington or Shaun Rogers.

Patience who. We could have an injury and need grady on our team. I like the idea of trading grady but not until we know what we have on our team first.

Why was big daddy dan let go anyway?

You only got half the story, lack of preformance for the money is the rest.

BC is right we have already been through this. Champ or Smoot for Grady and if we want to sign Big Daddy we\'ll do that to. But for a trade I want Smoot or Bailey. From what I\'m hearing Grady ain\'t doing to badly in camp right now. Maybe he got some motivation in him that we don\'t know about. Bottom line is Grady isn\'t a bad Dt when he wants to be and he can provide depth if nothing else. I say don\'t be so quick to give him up for nothing. Big Daddy has done nothing beyond what Grady has done for us in the past. At a even swap Grady for Big daddy I say no way. I\'d just as well keep what we got.

Sorry, guys. My bad. I now see the in-depth analysis on the other page.

Just got excited thinking I had found something new this morning. Hands had a mind of their own and just starting working.

Hmmm... that usually only happens on other pages.

I\'ll go back to reading and leave the writing to the pros.

Please don\'t give up. They were just messing around with the new guy. Something else to do instead of opening up yet another Brooks Sux/ No he doesn\'t thread (Thank God).

No one in here is a pro or better than anyone else.

I for one welcome all posters. Gives me something to keep me away from those other sites you referenced ;)

Post away whowatches, we all need a little help from time to time. It\'s all good.

I beg your pardon.
I suppose I as a lowly Practice Squad member hoping for enough free time on my hands so I can become a Veteran should know my place.
A THOUSAND pardons Guv\'nur, I will try to control my free speech from here on in so as not to offend anyone\'s sense of propriety upon this board.

;) I too cannot wait for the season to begin so we will not be at each other\'s throats.

p.s. who is going to the Saints/Philly game on the 11th?
My son and I will be there with friends and could always stand to see another friendly face or two. Especially since we live in Colorado now and would like to put some faces to these posts.

Wish I could make it to the Philly preseason game, but, as a Saint fan stranded in Birmingham, AL, I only get to make it to maybe one game a year. I was hoping to catch a game in Hotlanta this year again, but friggin\' Vick had to sell out the season.

Go figure!

Regionally speaking wouldn\'t Nashville and Jacksonville be alternatives? Don\'t rule out Atlanta. If you wanted to be in the house, I\'m sure somebody will have a ticket available on game day. Of course, New Orleans will host 8 regular season home games.

Nashville\'s a bit farther than Atlanta, but I\'ve been wanting to see a game there for years. Being from Mississippi, I like to pull for McNair in the AFC.

Jacksonville\'s a haul. It\'d be easier to drive to NO.

I\'ll probably go to the Atlanta game and hope to find a ticket outside. I\'m impressed that the city is finally paying attention to their football team. Too bad Doug Johnson won\'t take them to the playoffs.

I\'m from Hattiesburg, and the wife\'s from Picayune. We both went to Southern Miss. How about you?

Speaking of Southern, I\'m hoping to go to the Nebraska game this year. Anybody know if tickets are still available/available yet?

Hattiesburg is just right up the road. I\'m surprised you aren\'t a big Farve fan instead of McNabb, considering Farve lives in Hattiesburg and played at USM.

I went to NLU, which is now University of Louisiana at Monroe

Oh yeah, I do root for Favre. I used to have a \'Favre 4 Heisman\' bumper sticker in high school. He was a senior at Southern when I was a senior at Hattiesburg High.

Favre\'s grown up quite a bit over the last ten years. I worked as a waiter/bartender at a local restaurant during college and used to see him quite a bit. He was a little wild back in the day, but he\'s settled into a nice guy.

I almost made it up to the Green Bay training camp this month when I thought I was going to have to drive to Fargo, North Dakota, but the trip fell through.

Favre played high school ball in the same county in which my wife grew up. He\'s legend around there.

How long you been on the Gulf Coast Billy? I used to live in Ocean Springs and went to high school in Bay St. Louis.

About 5-years. I lived in Ocean Springs a couple of years back. I got tired of driving to Long Beach though, which is where I work. Go to Bay St. Louis all the time. How long since you have been here?

Yep, that would be Kiln, Ms. Better known around here as \"The Kill\". There\'s only two kind of fans here: Saints or Packers. Brett comes down here on the coast a lot. Not too long ago he had a run-in with the police, but it got swept under the rug. He used to hang out at a bar called the Broke Spoke. Your right, he is legend around here.

Have not been to the Bay area in years is the Dock of the Bay still there? I still have family in O.S so I end up there every once in a while. Can\'t belive all the changes from the casinos, Every time I come back it blows me away I hardly reconize the coast any more.

Isn\'t the Favre family really disliked Billy? I grew up in New Orleans, but spent a lot of time on the coast - pass, gulfport... pretty much any place from waveland to biloxi. My gf of 6+ years grew up in long beach too. I thought the Favres were basically nothing but a bunch of criminals. His cousin was beat in the head with a baseball bat in his trailer by his wife, another cousin went to jail for drug distribution, his sister was in a drive by (can\'t remember which end she was on in that one)... etc, etc, etc.
