I'm not ready to fire Sean just yet. But I think I AM READY to fire the defensive coordinator though. He's been playing decent run defense, and playing it pretty well. But he hasn't been playing pass defense worth a crap. All year.

Yeah, but it's probably better this way. If we had won, we could go on deluding ourselves that this is a premier team we're rooting for. But now, our season is effectively over, so we can start re-evaluating talent. We've got nothing left to lose this year, so we'll have to face it - which might be better than the alternative. Young will be at CB soon, I think. And we'll draft higher in April, that is a plus.

I very much am indeed used to the Saints and their nutty losing ways.

I cheer for them when they win . . . and I laugh at them when they lose to inferior teams, to expansion teams, to winless teams, and in dramatic fashion in which they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

The Saints are my Lovable Little Loser Clowns, and I expect them to bring us many future years of foibles, fumbles and laughs (and NO Superbowl victories)!

being a RED SOX fan you get use to the pain. I was just hopeing this year was going to diffrent, for the SAINTS.
