Kaesviharn could get more time

SunHerald.com : Kaesviharn could get more time

"We missed a coverage on Galloway's big completion," Payton said. "We gave up a big touchdown run in a run support where the safety is in position there to make a play and didn't. That was my decision in moving Kevin in."

Payton left open the door of the possibility where Kaesviharn could replace Harper more often.

What? No mention of how bad Jason David sucks? Hmmmm, there's gotta be a reason. I just want a reason, that's all I ask. Why is he still playing? Usama's healthy...

KK has done well when he gets a chance. The guy had 6 picks last year. Bullocks has been out of position most of the time. Usama looked healthy of special teams, so it must be more than that. I don't think the coach wants to show up his million dollar CB.

Why isnt Usama playing cornerback. I just dont get get. You draft Cb to play special teams. Hes better than Jason David. I like KK too.

I probably the leader of the Usama Young fan club here, but I gotta say, Jason Craft has been playing lights out this year. I'd start him over both David and Young at this point.

I know he had the winning TD completed on him, but he was in position, it was just a good throw and an excellent catch.

You're absolutly right. Craft couldn't have had better coverage. The receivers timing was perfect. Jason was much shorter than the receiver. But the coverage was there.

Agreed, but why didn't we take a timeout when they moved Stevens out there??

Go figure Stevens finally caught a football... his hands are made of butter and he's the ultimate choke job. That's probably why.

Go figure, like everyone else seems to, he got his first against us!

Good question. I wish I had an answer to it.

I guessing that was sarcasm, right? Because we were out of them. I'm not jumping on the "fire payton" bus, but his use of Time Outs is terrible. He constantly uses TOs in the 3rd quarter to change schemes defensively and it constantly bites us in the butt.

I wish someone smarter than I am would do a statistical analysis on what a Time Out is worth, kinda like the economist that did the study saying that teams should go for it on 4th and 10 anywhere past their 35yl. I'd just be interested to see how many yards a TO is worth statistically speaking.

Man, can you imagine how many answers there would be to that question?
There would be so many things that would change the answer. Like What yard line they are on. What down is it. I think far to many variables to get one firm answer. But boy if you could........

Agreed 100% WhoDat.

I don't think Kaesviharn needs to be replacing Harper for good. Harper had one bad game. How often do you see him missing tackles? He's usually out there laying guys out. I agree he did miss some key tackles on Sunday, but I've seen Kaesviharn miss plenty too. When he was with the Bengals he wasn't that great at stopping the run, and in the preseason he missed so many tackles on 2nd and 3rd string running backs it wasn't even funny. He's good in coverage, and I wouldn't mind him replacing Bullocks at the Free Safety spot so much, but he is not a Strong Safety.

yea replacing harper is def not the answer...bullocks maybe :P

How about Bullocks ad David both?

Get ready for alot of changes is my guess at this point. We are mathematically alive while being dead. Talk about statistics. You can get the numbers to say whatever you want. As for the time outs, if the defense was better we would not be calling them so quickly. Sean has faith in Drew and running a 2 minute offense without them. This was a game that could turn on ever series. It makes no logical sense to me to burn them but then again with our defense logic has nothing to do with it.
