Bushs mistake

Bush acknowledges mistakes, vows to learn from

"Nobody in this world has higher expectations than I do for myself, and the fact I haven't been as successful as I would have liked early on in my career has been a little tough to deal with," Bush said. "I can improve on running the ball. I can improve on pass-blocking. I can improve on catching the ball, route running ... securing the ball when I'm running the ball, not fumbling as much."

I'm actually glad to read this. Tiki Barber used to have problems fumbling the ball being an undersized back. He was able to correct it fairly simply, and the rest is history. I hope he learns how to run while protecting the ball, someone needs to do a better job of teaching him how to secure it.

He'll come around NO DOUBT, I just wish it was quicker.

I really hope this off season Bush hits the training program very hard. Bush needs to get stronger if he wants to survive in the NFL. Bush looks to be worn out at this point. He would benefit to gain another 15 pounds or so. He is currently listed at 203, I would love to see him closer to 220. Other than that, he needs to stop whining and just go to work. His fumbles and dropped passes are totally unacceptable. That is something he needs to correct now.

Bush will work his butt off I am sure. After this year even the fantasy gods are finally down on him. He is listed as a lower tier #2 finally. It is not all his fault. He is getting his first taste of being an average player and I think he really does not like it.
Here I go again, the OL needs to be adjusted. That will go along way to correcting some of his problems. But he still needs to work on slowing down behind the line. No OL will ever move that quick.

I'm starting a petition for Barry Sanders as running backs coach!

What did Bush learn from his mistake, that he's not what he was in college and never will be until he stops thinking he is. We all have to admit that Karney's statements did give some insight into Bush's problem. Mister superstar with all those big endorsements needs to start doing what got him those endorsements in the first place, PLAYING FOOTBALL!

He is one of the league leaders in fumbles and dropped passes but I don't think we want him to have those records or do we?

What happened from college until now? Did the coaching staff teach him to fumble and drop passes or was he always like this?

Mister Bush, play football and forget about everything else or you will lose it all, most importantly the fans respect.

Boy, how true is this, he needs to be more patient for his holes to open up. But he still needs someone else back there to make him more dangerous.

I never have understood this... "He needs to focus on football more and off the field stuff less."
I actually was dissappointed in Karney for asying anything...
The correct answer is, "Reggie is great teammate and he is as dedicated to winning football games as the rest of us are."

How do you know how much time he spends on training?
Do you know his workout routine?
Do you know Adrian Peterson's workout routine?
How can Karney tell someone how he should approach the game, when he's never done anything to make himself standout from the pack?

I love Karney too, but he is an average FB... That's it.
Reggie may be a dissappointment, average and overrated... But he hasn't said anything negatvie about any of his teammates...

Do you even know what workout Reggie Bush did this offseason?
It's called Fre Flo Do... It's experimental... and no one knows about it...
Doesn't mean it's not as difficult, just different...
Maybe it didn't work, but don't try to convince me a guy should pass up making money to workout in a conventional way...
What if he suffered a career ending injury...
You wouldn't care if he was financially set...
These guys only have 10 years (if they are lucky) to earn all the money they will ever earn in their lives...

When you say, "Bush will work his butt off" It tells me you don't think he already has and that concerns me... I guess I am alone when I believe he is a professional...

Sometimes you have a bad season...
He is not solely responsible for what has gone on this year...
Deuce looked like crap whe he was playing... maybe he should stop focusing on charity work and running his business' and start playing football right?
