Who Can Relate To This?
Am I the only one who cringes everytime an announcer mentions that "(Insert Team) hasn't score a TD on an opening drive all year", or "(Insert RB) has yet to have a 100 yard game this season", or "(Insert Team) has not won a game all year when they have trailed in the 4th Quarter", or "(Insert QB) hasn't played all that well this year", or "(Insert Team) is still looking for their first win".
It's almost as if they are talking directly to the Saints when they say it. I'm still wait for the Bucs to have their first kickoff return for a TD in franchise history against us. You know it's coming. |

I've always noticed that too. The trend breaks a lot of times as soon as they say it. But it works in out favor sometime. Bush has his first touchdown after a commentator mentioned he hadn't scored all year.

It's almost the kiss of death when thay say that. I know it gets to me when they do it. i cuss them and scream at the TV every time, or say gee thanks now i know it'll happen.

Check the Rams tape...
They broke out the ... "the Rams haven't scored a first Qtr. TD this year" stat and then the Rams promptly drove down the field and scored... When that happens, I wish I could put up a "Our producers haven't been hit by a bus while leaving the stadium all season stat." |

Well, they did say several times that only one team's made the playoffs after starting 0-4. So hopefully we'll make the playoffs.
