Saints could talk to Payton about extension

As Per Jay Glazer, of FOX Sports, reports the New Orleans Saints could talk to head coach Sean Payton about a long-term contract extension.

Yeah, I heard that too. I think the Saints front office may be jumping the gun a little bit. I would wait a little while and see. At least if he eventually needs to be fired, the contract only means money for Payton and not necessarily a long term coaching job. On the other hand, I guess with all the money Benson has, it may be wise for the Saints to take that chance. If he does win a Super Bowl in the next couple years, his price will go up dramatically.

Well I want to see if he falls under the same guidelines as the players. If so he will sign in the last year of his contract if he does.
