Tell me it's not an illusion that Jason Craft is reborn this season. I keep seeing replays of the last few Saints games and he's in the middle of all the action, either defending passes or making tackles or (holy wrap-around, Batman) a forcing a sack!

Is the contrast between him and others so great that he's better just by comparison, or is it simply the way they're using him?

... it's like what what women say: you want to look more attractive? have ugly friends... when you compare him to David and Bullocks, of course he looks lights out.

... but I don't want to take anything away from him... he's been performing: he's making the tackles, he's been good in coverage (even that TB TD, he couldn't have covered that any better ), he's been around the ball...

As he's been all year long. I'm happy he got his act together... he was horrid last year. Maybe David can make the same adjustments next year. But as of now, Craft needs to see the bulk of the playing time opposite Mike.

I was hoping the U Young hadn't gotten hurt, what we saw of him while he played was very promising and he looked better than any CB we have not named McKenzie. I thought he was playing as well as Craft, but then an injury and missed time for a rookie spells time for the bench.

And now back to football! Jason certainly has played much better this year than last year. He looks like a completely different player this year. I'm thinking i'd rather see him opposite MM than Jason (Barney Fife) David.

Craft has improved in the nickel. I remeber one of the KC coaches saying nickel is harder to play than CB. Perhaps Craft is mastering it. I dunno. All I know is that he looks better, even good, playing in that position. Agreed.
