“I think we’ve improved to some degree, and it’s served us well this year,” he said. “We’re constantly looking each week at the team we’re going to play defensively and making sure we have enough options. “That’s one area of the game that can change week-to-week based on who you’re playing,” Payton said. “We spend a lot of time on it and (quarterback) Drew (Brees) has done a good job with that. Hopefully, that will continue.” |
