Stecker gets his chance to shine
SunHerald.com : Stecker gets his chance to shine
"I've always believed in my abilities even though you hear that people doubt it," Stecker said. "Coming in this year, a lot of you guys (the media) thought that I wouldn't be around. I've never looked at that. I always just control what I can do." Never being a No. 1 running back for Tampa Bay or New Orleans during his eight seasons in the league, Stecker honed his skills as an overall football player and waited for a chance. |
Re: Stecker gets his chance to shine
I'm glad to see Stecker get an opportunity. He definetly helped the Saints offense have a more balanced attack against Atlantis. I hope he has another 100+ game against the Cards.

Re: Stecker gets his chance to shine
You know I did my share of bashing of Stecker at the beginning of the season. Today I have a crow sandwich ready for my half time snack. The vet still has what it takes to play in the NFL. I would like to see PT do a little more though. Stecker is not getting any younger. Ok I just made it a double decker sandwich.

Re: Stecker gets his chance to shine
Other than that fumble on his first carry, the old vet did a great job, running hard on all carries. He has been a savior the past few weeks. Go Stecker Go ! I wonder if you can buy a 27 jersey?

Re: Stecker gets his chance to shine
I've always been a fan of Stecker so I love seeing him have two good games in a row..
If Bush were to come back next week I'd still would play him often, the guy runs with heart and moves the chains well. |
