Next week against the Eagles is going to be one monster tough game to win. I'm watching what appears to be an outclassed and outmanned Philly team open a real big can of whoopass on Dallas. Their defense is solid, their offense is just as difficult to manage as any that's given the Saints trouble this season.

We're having a hard time beating the likes of AZ, I don't see much of a shot against a mean and fearless Eagles team. Not liking the looks of this.
I wouldn’t call it “a can of whoop ass”. It really wasn’t that lopsided a game.
You have to consider that Eagles-Cowboys is a big in-division rivalry, I’d say of late bigger than Cowboys-Redskins. The Eagles were playing for their season, the Cowboys weren’t.

The thing about the Eagles defense, they’re smart. The DC always defends the strengths and attacks the other team’s weakness. The Eagles went in to stop the Dallas running game, and then expose Romo for the poser that he is, and they did.

Here’s the key for the Saints offense: contain the blitz. If they can find a way to deal with the blitz, then it’s daylight.

Here’s the key for the Saints defense: stop/contain Westbrook. I don’t think Mcnabb is all that in the passing game. As for having trouble stopping the Cardinals, the Cardinals’ strength (passing) is the Saints weakness (defending against the pass). I’d take Warner, Boldin, and Fitzgerald any day over McNabb, what’shisname, and whothehellishe.

Add to this, that the Eagles have to be emotionally spent after the last 3 weeks, then getting bounced off the hunt last night… It is VERY important that the Saints score first, and early.

'Cause the simple man pays the thrills, the bills and the pills that kill
