“He has a rare form of pneumonia that over the weekend they drained some fluid just outside the lung cavity between the chest cavity and his lungs. They did it arthroscopically and he is doing better. It has been frustrating for him because he is laid up in a hospital bed and it was more serious than any of us initially thought. Fortunately he is recovering well – it’s going to take him a while. I spoke to him just prior to the game and I’m sure he is just antsy and sitting up in bed and waiting but it’s something that is going to take a while and we’ll announce something and keep you guys posted and hopefully the sooner the better. He is doing better and he is feeling better but it set him back. It was pretty significant and it was just that, it was pneumonia that basically had gotten progressively worse after the Falcon game to where it was causing him pain breathing. Fortunately the doctors were able to diagnose the ailment and come up with a plan and I know that over the weekend they were in the process of draining some of the fluid that had built up outside the lung area.”
