Brian Young Update
 

YOUNG UPDATE: Defensive tackle Brian Young was back in the Saints' dressing room Thursday, looking thinner after an 11-day hospital stay for pneumonia.

"It should be good," Young said of his prognosis, "but it was pretty scary. I've got to take it easy for a while."

Young was released from the hospital a week ago.

I am a big fan of Brian Young...but this was pretty serious...he lost over 30 pounds during this last ordeal...and now he is a free agent and he just hasnt been able to stay on the field this year. I would like the Saints to try and bring him back on a short term, performance based salary.

Wow, lost over 30 lbs... Another 20 or so, and maybe he can be moved to LB. Just kidding. Seriously, I with Brian a speedy recovery. I too hope the Saints bring him back next year.

I am a fan too... but have had this idea he is in his last year as a saint
