I am not sure what can be done on kickoffs, but on punts it's fairly obvious. Kick the ball out of bounds!

Hester is not the problem, it's the blocking... the Bears' blocking on punts is OUTSTANDING!. If you look at any of the Hester returns, he goes on a straight line, north-south, untouched. Obviously you need the speed of Hester and the vision of Hester, but it is the blocking..
