Euph, I don't care who they cut, Pierre Thomas was the better running back obviously anyway. I'm talking about meaningful playing time - especially since we haven't had a hundred yard rusher until we're basically out of the playoff race the last 2-3 games of the season.

Re: hey y'all, cheer up.
I was in Chicago for the NFC championship. Even though we lost, it was special. I had to be there because it was a first for the Saints and myself. However; We fans lost hope that Saturday night as we were in downtown Chicago with about 300 other Saint fans at a bar as we all watched the Saints team get off the bus the night before the Championship. It was snowy & freezing and all us fans knew the Saints couldn't possibly be ready on the next day. We all sunk lower in our chairs when Sean Payton spoke of how he wanted this to be like every other game that year. All the fans there in Chicago were expecting it to be much more than that. We thought we were part of something magical and maybe even on a ride of destiny. Players can't acclimate from 72 to 20 in 1/2 a day. Not effectively enough to win in a hostile environment. There is no way I can ever accept that Sean Payton did not understand that. If he didn't, he's the narrowest minded coach in NFL history. I can only believe he didn't want us to win.
We expected atleast the playoffs from this year. Sean Payton blew it in Chicago for the championship last year. He blew it all season this year. We should know what to expect from him in 08. It hurts so much to be a Saints fan! Thank God for good fishin and my good woman! |
