Maybe a Rumor just for a rumor. Who knows but he is close to Big Coors Light, I have lm listening to the NFL radio right now on my computer.

If I hear anything to that rumor, I'd stop what I was doing and post what I hear.

I would like to see the Saints retain Cowher to advise us on the upcoming FA and draft. Hey, it would be worth $500K to land 2 or 3 solid defensive players.

So we could get Dorsey in the Draft and another top 10 player and minus Sean Payton which in turns gets rid of Gibbs!

Payton wants to prove himself and his chances of success in the next 2 years is much higher in N.O compared to Miami, he'd be nuts to take that job, they need a major overhaul there.

Payton is not going anywhere, but if he does go to Miami, the Saints will gladly take their 1st round pick for him. I know this Miami stuff is just a crazy rumor...

Now lets just say the Saints deal Payton to Miami for their number 1. I would say forget Cowher as a consultant. I would bring in Jimmy Johnson as a consultant and let him do his magic. We would still get the best player in the draft, and pick up several more selections. Bring in Singletary as the new head coach, and Cameron as the o.c., and all would be just fine.
