Free Agency begins March 3rd
 

It appears this is a very deep draft at OL, DL, and LB, & RB.

I say we pick S in first round, CB in second round, LB in third round, DL in fourth round, then RB, QB, and K.

I think with that draft order in mind we should be targeting LB, CB, and DL in Free Agency.

We should resign Will Smith, extend Colston, and try to keep our TE's.

Free agency is before the draft so Asante Samual should be our prime target.

We can wait untill the end of next year to resign Smith. Heck, we could even Franchise him.
Colston's new deal can wait too.

Ya know what deep drafts get ya??? no wheres fast. That only mean other teams will get just as better as you. You ALWAYS need to grap the top teir players in a positiong that will get you the better outcome.

S and CB position is going to get us no where. We need to worry about a pass rush FIRST AND FOREMOST.
I don't care who you have at CB or Saftey eventually someone is going to get open. You but a rush on and you limit the time a WR has to get open. Forces the QB to make a throw perhaps a bad one for an INT.

We really need to be more active in FA this year. We never do much. There's a Top CB who is from Louisiana in the market this year in Ndami Asoguma or sumtin like that. There shouldn't be many reasons why we can't see this kid in Black and Gold

I don't know why we always get so pumped just to be let down. We won't be active in FA like every year, it always happens. I don't understand what we're trying to do, we aren't drafting good, we aren't trading, and Free Agency...there's no such thing for us

I fully expect us to watch every playmaker sign elsewhere.

If I were GM, I'd sign TE Dallas Clark, CB Asante Samuel, DT Kimo Von Oelhoffen as soon as Free Agency starts.

Draft Keith Rivers or Kenny Phillips at #10

Well lets see how the tags fall first. As many as 6 to 10 players are going to get tagged IMO. As with previous years we should have a good idea how serious we are in signing a top fa by march 24. most of the top ones will be gone by then..
I can live with upgrading depth on the team and spending the money on signing next years FAs to contracts this year.

Pick 10 could be a great position this year for trading down now that we know the list of Jr. not coming out. A lot of top 20 JR. stayed. Changing the draft from 15 on quit a bit.

Samuels wants big money....Im talking about 25 million gurannted money.

As for the Colston thing....this guy has produced...he has played hurt, and been greatful for every chance he's been given with the saints. By all rights the guy should have made the pro bowl over Torry Holt. We should extend the guy to decent money, and take care of our own before we bring in big names
