Would be a good pick up. HINT HINT, the front Office!

Re: Michael "Burner" Turner leaving Bolts
sign him...now.

Re: Michael "Burner" Turner leaving Bolts
His contract demands will probably be in the 25-30 million dollar range over 5 years... which is similiar to what LaMont Jordan got a couple of years back. With the holes on D and lack of depth at WR, he's a luxury we don't really need... not to mention Colston and Smith are going to be extended soon. That type of money needs to be invested elsewhere... not RB.

JJ from dallas would be a better bet. Cash wise that is. But I think the saints learned a thing or two in chicago. PT is ready

Re: Michael "Burner" Turner leaving Bolts
I am all for Michael Turner coming to the Saints. I also don't think signing him would prevent the Saints from improving their defense, it's amazing how guys like Loomis manages the salary cap these days. I do not think the Saints would need to guarantee that he would be the number 1 guy. As long as they promise to give him his fair shot, he could be signed. I get hagan's point on JJ, but I am not sold on him at all. PT did have a wonderful game against Chicago, and I feel he is solid, but remember that he was the guy with fresh legs playing against a worn out team on the last week of the season.

Re: Michael "Burner" Turner leaving Bolts
We don't need another running back, especially one that's going to want top dollar. Reggie and Deuce are sucking up plenty of cash as is, and PT and Stecker both filled in just fine when called upon. Go find me seven new, SOLID starters on defense and we can talk offense.

Re: Michael "Burner" Turner leaving Bolts
I think Deuce can come back anyway. Recent history has shown player recovering from multiple ligament operations on the knee, though the name escapes me at the moment. Not to mention, Deuce has meant as much to this franchise as Ricky Williams never did. Not to mention his contributions off of the field. Losing him would be too much like watching Ricky Jackson play for the 9ers. The organization and the fans should show him the dedication he showed to us. In the immortal words of Stan Lee...'nuff said.
