Deuce Update from ESPN
New Orleans Saints running back Deuce McAllister
The injury: McAllister suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in a Sept. 24 game against the Tennessee Titans. The injury came less than two years after McAllister tore the ACL in his right knee. The outlook: McAllister is 29 years old, and the fact that he has been a workhorse throughout most of his career brings questions about how much he has left. But he made a strong recovery from his first injury, and Reggie Bush wasn't able to show he could be an every-down back last season. Ideally, the Saints would like to use the pair as a 1-2 punch. The one bright spot in McAllister's injury is that it happened so early last season that he will have had almost a full year to recover.
